Scope of Work:
• Provide technical advice to program managers and FSL staff on implementation of FSL activities.
• Provide guidance on development of new FSL activities.
Coordination
• Responsible for supporting the planning, coordination and implementation of project activities
related to FSL components of all projects in KP refugee and emergency response locations
• Ensure that there is cohesion between the FSL activities in different locations and between
projects supported by different donors.
• Support teams to successfully conduct activities which will include market assessments for
profitability of income generation activities, group formation, training in basic financial literacy,
small grants management, and kitchen gardening.

• Ensure that a minimum standard of quality programming is implemented across all KP FSL
activities in all locations.
• Support creation and follow up of work plans for FSL activities across FSL projects.
• Improve communication and coordination between KP FSL staff based in different locations.
• Ensure integration of FSL activities with other KP sectors (Camp Management and Coordination,
Protection/SGBV and Shelter).
Financial and Operational monitoring
• Ensure that FSL activities are adequately budgeted for in preparation of budgets and proposals;
• Follow up expenditure across FSL components to ensure accurate and timely expenditure;
• Support procurement and logistical aspects of programs to ensure FSL activities are well planned
and managed in accordance with KP policies and procedures.
Staff capacity building
• Identify gaps and weaknesses in technical capacity of KP staff and prepare a training plan to
address these in agreement with Deputy Country Director – programs.
• Ensure roll out of the agreed plan in all sites including preparation of materials and training
reports and follow up to the training.
External Relations
• Represent KP at the FSL cluster on a regular basis and establish strong links with all FSL actors and
stakeholders;
• Maintain close collaboration and good relations as required with donors and other partners.
Reporting and information sharing
• Ensure timely and regular project documentation and reporting on the project – including
performance/progress assessments against pre-defined project objectives, outputs, activities and
indicators.
• Promotion of learning from relevant best practices internally and externally.
• Support preparation and review of donor reports for FSL components for submission.
Strategic program development
• Identify opportunities to increase scope and quality of KP FSL programming.
• Participate in gathering of information and contributing to FSL proposal development, including
working with site teams to ensure accurate assessments, planning of suitable activities and
preparation of log frames with SMART indicators.
